Ceremonial Events in Memory of Zoe Nudell

Friends,

Zoë Nudell will be celebrated in many ways this week. We want to make sure you are aware of the gatherings that are happening and how you can contribute to making them full of Zoë's amazing spirit. Please help spread the word.

Gatherings
1) The Nova Scotia Sea School will be hosting a gathering Tuesday November 5th from 3pm - 6pm at the Pavilion on the Commons prior to the ceremony at Pier 21. All friends and family of Zoë are welcome. We will have a candle talk and silent walk to Pier 21 as part of this gathering. (finger food potluck- optional) beverages provided.

2) There will be a Sukhavati ceremony at Pier 21 1055 Marginal Road, this Tuesday November 5th (tomorrow) at 7 p.m followed by a potluck reception at the Halifax Grammar School (see below). All are welcome. (This is the 'official' funeral ceremony)

3) There will be a reception after the Sukhavati ceremony at the Meinertzhagen Theatre, Halifax Grammar School 945 Tower Road on Tuesday November 5th from 830pm-11pm. All are welcome. Please bring finger foods. Please make sure they are ready to serve and don't need to be heated. BYOB. If you have some of Zoë's art and are willing to share please bring it to the Meinertzhagen Theatre between 9-11am Tuesday morning. Nicole and Katherine will be there to receive it It will be carefully cared for and put on display at the reception.

4) There is practice happening at the Shambhala Centre (1084 Tower Rd.) for Zoë at the following times over the next few days:
Monday 12:00 to 4:30 in the Main Shrine Room
Tuesday 9:00 to 12:00 in the Snow Lion Room
Tuesday 12:00 to 4:30 in the Main Shrine Room
(for those of you who are not a part of the Shambhala community all are welcome, this is a beautiful and healing practice to participate in. You have the option to sit silently with others and send positive vibes to Zoë's spirit for as long or short as you like)

5) There will be a blow-out "Dress Like Zoë" dance party in honour of the magic she brings to the dance floor on Friday November 8that the Bus Stop Theatre, 2203 Gottingen Street. Details to be confirmed but this party will include a massive communal art project for all to add to. Please dress like Zoe and/or bring Zoë-esque clothes to add to the tickle trunk for people to wear.
